Second-generation textbook publisher, Kompit Panasupon is the managing editor of MAC Education, an education solution provider centred on developing high-quality educational materials for Thai students, which now includes digital products as well as print. Alongside managing MAC Education, “Pete” runs his own organic coffee business, PANA Coffee, which grows its arabica beans in the hills of Chiang Dao and processes them at his state-of-the-art facility. PANA Coffee was born out of Pete’s long-time obsession with coffee and has received various recognitions for its beans over the years, including Top Ten Best Coffee in Thailand in 2015 and more recently 3rd place in the Thailand Coffee Excellence 2021 awards. When Pete’s not attending education conferences or checking up on his coffee crops, he is busy being a passionate home cook, saxophonist, rescue diver, and parent to six cats.
