Rock Salt sits at the water's edge on a rocky promontory extending into the ocean within the luxury Nai Harn resort. It has a lively continental ambience perfectly matching the premium Mediterranean cuisine on offer. Hotel general manager Frank Grassmann a long-time Phuket resident and effervescent personality with a love for good food and wine, has carefully curated Rock Salt's wine list to include a stunning selection by glass and bottle showcasing an exclusive range of De Venoge champagnes, a truly spectacular number of Barolos and an unrivalled offering of refreshing roses. The wines are matched by equally stellar cuisine.

Chef Mark Jones has been at the helm of Nai Harn's kitchens for several years. Whilst Mark's foundation is in the classics, he continually reinvents himself kitchen-wise. Dishes of note are an unforgettable piri piri chicken and a now legendary mussels in yellow curry or meuniere. The culinary prowess shines with the handling of premium cuts of beef and the chargrill cooking of the Rangers Valley and Diamantina steaks is unequalled. The menu also includes middle­ eastern influences with stand-out lamb kofta and fragrant and luscious chick pea and lentil ragu. Desserts include a Tahitian vanilla and coconut pannacotta to complete the trip to the Med.
