Albricias is beginning to secure a long-term berth in the city's elite selection of dining venues, offering an exciting menu of Spanish and Mediterranean, classics and contemporary dishes. Its innovative take on Spanish cuisine saw it become the first Iberian restaurant in Thailand to receive the prestigious "Restaurantes de Espana Award 2022" from the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX). Certainly, aficionados of traditional Spanish fare will delight in rice dishes made with premium bomba grains that include Grandma Lola's, a combination of toothsome moist rice and slow cooked iberico pork ribs, piquillo peppers, free range baby chicken and Catalan picada sauce. But elsewhere it becomes even more interesting via creations such as a deconstructed version of patatas bravas featuring crispy potato millefeuille, Joselito chorizo, aged Manchego cheese and egg yolk white miso. Other highlights include sous vide octopus, which is grilled and served alongside smoked piquillo romesco and wild garlic salsa verde. Churros will not disappoint, however perhaps choose an El Pina; charcoal grilled pineapple with ginger sorbet and organic flower honey for a surprising finish. The wine list includes a number of interesting Spanish options.
This is the place to choose Iberico pork; quite possibly the world's best pork.
