Operated by Executive Chef and owner Francesco Lenzi, the restaurant promises diners an escape to Tuscany without ever having to leave Bangkok. In part, this is because they fly in ingredients from Italy. Homemade ravioli filled with French foie gras and ricotta comes in a truffle emulsion with strawberry sauce. The standout, though, is Lenzi\u2019s spaghetti with garlic, chilli, pork belly and tiger prawn, topped with a slice of blood pudding ham. The mood continues inside, where a wine bar practically calls for a glass of prosecco on arrival. Under Chef Lorenzo Ghezzani, the kitchen reworks familiar ideas with ease: white anchovies marinated and served with artichoke hearts and black truffle feel deeply satisfying, while duck breast with pomegranate sauce is structured yet generously coated. For dessert, choose the classic tiramisu \u2013 a sweet, traditional way to close the evening. Few places in Bangkok zoom in on a single strand of Italian cuisine with this level of precision. The meal begins simply with slices of cured meat and cheese, followed by a fresh salad tossed in Italian dressing. But pasta is the reason to be here. Mushroom and truffle tortellini is deeply aromatic with earthy notes and a light creaminess, while squid ink paccheri brings a briny, herbal edge with hints of the sea. Tortelli ricotta e spinaci features ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach, finished in a delicate butter and sage sauce. Costolette d\u2019agnello impanate, pan-fried lamb chops, have an excellent crisp, served alongside salad and rosemary-infused potatoes.
