This is Koktail Thailand\u2019s very first digital cover, and it feels only fitting that it should be shared with two names now at defining moments of their journeys. On one side is Thitiya \u201cBaipor\u201d Jirapornsilp, whose breakthrough in the film You & Me & Me<\/em> (2023)<\/em> has marked her arrival as one of the most exciting young talents of her generation. On the other is Sretsis, the fashion house founded by sisters Pim, Kly, and Matina Sukhahuta, whose long-standing vision has just taken new root in Bangkok with the unveiling of Sretsis\u2019 first flagship store in their hometown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together they embody a shared coming-of-age story. Meanwhile Sretsis reaches a new level of recognition at home compounded by years of international acclaim. Their paths converge in a moment that captures the spirit of maturity, creativity and, of course, individuality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Homecoming for Sretsis<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Eleven years after opening its standalone store Sretsis Inn in Aoyama, Tokyo, the brand has branched out of its mall branch with a flagship in Bangkok. Located at 38 Soi Tonson, the space feels both grounded and dreamlike. Just steps from the bustle of the city, the quiet tree-lined street sets the scene for a store that carries visitors into a universe where fashion is as much about imagination as it is about style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And lesser known, that Sretsis, apart from being the word \u2018sister\u2019 spelled backwards to echo the brand\u2019s whimsical aesthetic, also got inspiration from The Mirror of Erised<\/em>, the magical mirror in Harry Potter that reveals the deepest and most desired of a person’s heart\u2013an ethos reflected throughout the flagship, where every corner mirrors individuality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every corner of the flagship tells a story. The journey begins in The New Arrivals Room, named after the Autumn-Winter 2013 collection. It introduces the brand\u2019s seasonal vision while setting a tone of discovery. Hand-painted constellation designs by artist Terawat Teankaprasith shimmer on mirrored ceilings, surrounding visitors with a sense of wonder and renewal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From there the path leads upstairs to Sretsis Atelier. Here dressmaking becomes personal. Dark wood panelling recalls a classic gentleman\u2019s atelier, while custom pieces created from the brand\u2019s archive fabrics emphasise individuality and refinement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s not forget to mention the Heritage Wall, the stairway connecting the first and second floors, and also Pim\u2019s most cherished space, as it collects the brand\u2019s legacy with pieces from different collections worn by various notable figures\u2013like a living archive of its identity and evolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The experience culminates in the Up in the Clouds Salon, where cocktail dresses float mid-air on a carousel surrounding a mirrored Pegacorn. The hand-painted Up in the Clouds motif, first introduced in Autumn-Winter 2011, reappears across walls and even on a piano, evoking a dreamlike return to childhood imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baipor\u2019s Own Story of Coming of Age<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In parallel to this new chapter for Sretsis, Baipor has reached her own turning point. Her performance in You & Me & Me<\/em> introduced her to audiences with charm, warmth and a natural authenticity. The film, with its themes of youth and transition, reflected her own stage of life as she moved from school to university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOf course the film itself was a coming-of-age story,\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Baipor reflects,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cbut for me it was even more than that. It was my debut, my first step into this world of acting, and it gave me so many opportunities that I never imagined. Every day on set, every scene we shot, became a memory that I will carry with me. It was not just acting, it was growing up.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

She describes this period as one where her personal life mirrored her work.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u201cOver the years I\u2019ve experimented with so many styles, from vintage to very modern looks. Now working in the entertainment industry, I can explore even more. With Sretsis, I got to try something new, something I had never worn before. It gave me a look that felt refreshing, but also connected with parts of me I had not yet shown.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

When asked which Sretsis look spoke most strongly to her, Baipor points to one with a cinematic spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u201cI loved the last look from Fall-Winter 2025.\u00a0Its concept related to film, especially silent cinema, which I studied. It reminded me of my classes and the way film can tell stories without words. That connection made me feel I was bringing part of my own history into the shoot.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Both Sretsis and Baipor share a quality that ties their journeys together: an almost perfectionist attention to detail. Baipor explains,\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think of fashion as another form of storytelling, very much like acting. I tend to be a perfectionist. When I work I want to give each detail the care it deserves. With acting, I build a character piece by piece, from feelings to persona to identity. In fashion I approach each look with the same care. Every outfit is an image of myself going out into the world, so my team and I always put thought into every detail. That effort makes me feel fulfilled.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In the same way, Sretsis builds its world through layers of creativity and precision, turning whimsy into a storytelling space. Each room of this flagship store is a chapter and each detail serves a purpose. So\u2026 Parallel Journeys After All?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For Pimdao \u201cPim\u201d Sukhahuta, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Sretsis, the collaboration with Baipor could not have come at a better time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
