Koktail caught up with coolest couple Ploi Horwang and Thaythanan \u201cThay\u201d Wongpreechachok, and also with Pataradanai \u201cKoen\u201d Setsuwan, for a candid conversation on love, growth and embracing change.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the recent CC DOUBLE O event to mark the launch of the \u201cConfidence Made Casual\u201d campaign, Koktail had the chance to chat with three personalities whose lives and stories capture the spirit of effortless style and genuine self assurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event also unveiled the special \u201c20 Years Anniversary\u201d limited collection, a series that mixes the brand\u2019s iconic logo with designs full of freedom and confidence, creating pieces that can be worn in all kinds of moments, big or small. The setting was lively yet intimate, and it became the backdrop for conversations that gave insight into how love, change and self expression shape each individual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ploi and Thay on Love and Age<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ploi Horwang and her partner Thaythanan \u201cThay\u201d Wongpreechachok, from the Three Man Down band, brought a playful warmth to their exchange, with Ploi quick to challenge and Thay equally ready with honesty and humour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked if love had changed the way he saw the world, Thay admitted that being younger than Ploi had made him see how age does not necessarily bring maturity, but it does not take away joy either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt shows that no matter how old you become, you can still enjoy life,\u201d <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

he said with a boyish sincerity that softened the weight of his reflection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ploi teased him but eventually agreed, noting that their relationship has shown her that age is indeed just a number and that a partnership can bring lightness and fun as much as it brings depth. Learning Through Everyday Habits<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What stood out further was how both spoke of learning from each other in the most ordinary but telling ways. Ploi confessed that concerts have become a new part of her life since being with a musician, a detail that suggests how relationships can nudge us into experiences we never sought ourselves. Thay, on the other hand, reflected on small acts of self care, from checking his style to using cream before bed, framed half in jest but also with the awareness that caring for oneself is a sign of respect not only for him but also for her. Pataradanai \u201cKoen\u201d Setsuwan\u2019s conversation carried a different weight. Where Ploi and Thay exuded youthful teasing, Koen spoke with the steadiness of someone who has weathered storms and chosen to speak of them without bitterness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He described how love had changed him, not in an idealised sense but through the reality of marriage, divorce and renewal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

he said plainly, but rather than sounding resigned, he expressed it as an invitation to live fully in the present. This openness was echoed in his thoughts on independence, where he admitted that heartbreak once led him to close himself off, but over time he realised that allowing vulnerability is the only way to truly connect again. It was a candid admission that independence, while empowering, can also become a shield, and that real strength sometimes lies in letting someone else share the weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Value of Change and Vulnerability<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When asked about change, Koen answered without hesitation, saying it is essential. His perspective was that people should not feel bound by past choices or labels, whether in taste, appearance or even career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idea that change is not only possible but necessary gave his words a refreshing clarity, cutting through the pressure many feel to remain consistent. His final thought, that he would change nothing about his past, rounded out the conversation with a sense of resolution. Every mistake had been a lesson, and every wrong turn had been a necessary part of becoming who he is today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
