The Land of Smiles is set to add a touch of excitement to its appeal.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s spill the Thai tea: for nearly nine decades, Thailand has kept gambling firmly in the \u201cthanks, but no thanks\u201d category (save for the horse racing and lottery tickets). But times have shifted, and the broader gambling scene has come into its own, thriving in the shadows. While names of tourism hotspots like Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Pattaya have been floated, that doesn\u2019t mean gambling will be available at all of these places. Essentially, it\u2019s shaping up to be an entertainment wonderland, channeling that luxury playground vibe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-money-cash-money\"><strong>Money, Cash, Money<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It is expected to generate a potential annual revenue of a whopping $9.1 billion (approximately \u0e3f330 billion as of early 2025), create up to 15,000 new jobs, and boost tourist numbers by 10%.
