Mamma mia, here we go again<\/h3>\n

Formed in Stockholm in 1972, ABBA is considered by many to be one of the greatest musical groups of all time. Their hit songs are such earworms, we still sing them today and they are still widely used in popular media. A testament to this, in 1998, their discography was adapted into a successful musical, Mamma Mia!<\/em>, which was further adapted for the silver screen in 2008 (and its sequel in 2018). The song Dancing Queen<\/em> also made its way into the Recording Academy’s Grammy Hall of Fame in 2015. It seems that their music is still being realised and they are not dying down anytime soon.<\/p>\n

When ABBA announced their separation back in 1982, fans were devastated. Their hit songs are one-of-a-kind and undoubtedly made a mark all over the world. But as the song goes, the group told the world to take a chance on them and announced their reunion back in 2016. They promised their fans an album—Voyage<\/em>—full of newly recorded songs and a concert tour featuring digital avatars of their 1979 selves. Dubbed “ABBAtars”, the virtual avatars of the group members are designed in partnership with Star Wars <\/em>creator George Lucas’ special effects company. ABBAtars will be holding high-tech concerts in London from May to October 2022. <\/p>\n
