As fans of the award-winning HBO drama The White Lotus <\/em>may have already heard, the next filming location for the show is likely to be in Thailand.<\/p>\n The black comedy-drama was a breakout success during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and received positive critical acclaim and high ratings. The series also received various accolades which includes ten Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globes.<\/span><\/p>\n The White Lotus<\/span><\/em> <\/em>follows the guests and employees of the fictional White Lotus resort chain whose stay is affected by their various psychosocial dysfunctions. The first two seasons were shot at Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea in Hawaii and Four Seasons’ San Domenico Palace in Sicily.<\/span><\/p>\n Although HBO has yet to comment on the location of the third season, sources from Variety<\/em> have said it is possible that it will take place at one of the Four Seasons resorts in Thailand: a picturesque resort on the island of Koh Samui, a <\/span>secluded resort overlooking terraced rice fields in Chiang Mai, a posh all-inclusive resort set amidst a jungle in northern Thailand, or a riverside retreat with upscale dining facilities and a view of longtail boats in Bangkok.<\/span>
