Here\u2019s all you need to know about season 2 of the show that has blown us all away<\/h3>\n

Ever since the highly-anticipated HBO show The Last of Us<\/em> began airing, it has left viewers craving more.<\/p>\n

Based on the video game of the same name, the post-apocalyptic drama follows smuggler Joel (Pedro Pascal), who is hired to transport Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a 14-year-old girl who may be humanity’s last hope. In 2003, a mass fungal infection broke out and caused a global pandemic which turned humans into zombie-like creatures. However, Ellie is immune to the infection, and could be the key in creating a vaccine.

Just three episodes in, and quicker than any virus outbreak, the show officially revealed on Instagram that The Last of Us<\/em><\/span> season 2 is definitely happening, captioned, “The journey continues”.<\/span><\/p>\n
