The new hotel is housed inside the landmark King Power Mahanakhon Building, known for its 78-storey height and multiple F&amp;B and lifestyle outlets.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.koktailmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/77502b3f4a860f3758c3a4aeba1039b6.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" >Corner King<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Keeping up with the brand DNA of the hotel chain, The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon aims to be &#8220;anything but standard&#8221; for its near-future guests. The design of the 155 rooms as well as the hotel&#8217;s various facilities was led by Spanish designer Jaime Hayon, who is known for his bold and whimsical aesthetics derived from skate and graffiti culture. What then set the modern luxury hotel apart from others in its class and prime location, in terms of design, are the pops of color and fluid shapes, blended stylishly with art and greenery.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.koktailmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/e6ea1f6cd0146c23dc3c43c3fb086f0d.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon suite interiors<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.koktailmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/faa88f0a3d008680b2ab6d0f085d329f.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Speaking of the facilities, the hotel highlights an outdoor terrace pool that is sure to live up to The Standard&#8217;s reputation for stunning pools, as well as an ambitiously designed gym that is also offering exclusive memberships to locals.
