Thai cuisine can always be found throughout the list&mdash;even taking the <a href=\"..\/..\/..\/content-detail\/khao-soi-bangkok\">top spot<\/a> in previous years. This time around, three spicy Thai dishes made it to the index: <em>phanaeng curry (#6)<\/em>, <em>massaman curry (#40)<\/em>, and<em> green curry (#73)<\/em>. The publication described its sixth spot as:<\/p>\n<p><em>Phanaeng curry is a variety of Thai curry that is characterized by its thick texture and a salty-sweet peanut flavor.
