Organized by Vira and Dragonfly360, the Body Wisdom Weekend takes place this weekend March 5-6, at Siri House<\/h3>\n

Hosted by women’s health and empowerment platforms Vira and Dragonfly360, The Body Wisdom Weekend at Siri House this weekend is an immersive two-day event that is intended to bring women together to discuss their health and wellness issues in a creative community manner. Several topics related to women’s health and wellbeing will be on the table, including menstruation, sex, and menopause. The purpose is to break down the stigma that exists in Thai society of openly talking about sex and the female body. To help them do so, the organizers have recruited a number of medical professionals, activists, and artists to participate in the event, including Mechai Viravaidya (famously known as Mr. Condom for his work to promote safe sex in Thailand), Bumrungrad OB\/GYN Dr. Pansak Sugkraroek, menstruation specialist Dr. Olarik Musigavong, naturopath Dr. Nichamon Samantarat, model-activist Sirinya Cindy Bishop, model-influencer Kanticha Chumma, blogger MsHappyDiet, and artist Note P, just to name a few. Beyond panel discussions, there are also workshops, art exhibitions, yoga, live music, and other performances planned for the weekend. <\/p>\n

Day Passes start at 1,500 baht, inclusive of a full day of activities, lunch and a goodie bag. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the event’s vendors, SexyLittleBeach and Lucy G jewelry, will go towards donating feminine hygiene products from Ira Concept to young girls at Good Shepherd Sister and schools in Northern Thailand with the support of SATI Foundation, so don’t forget to bring some extra change for shopping at Siri House this weekend. <\/span><\/p>\n
