Aware of the discrimination and stigma against the LGBTQ community at local hospitals, Dr Deyn opened a clinic in 2015
that offers conselling and treament with sensitivity and respect to all patients including the unprivileged. After training in pathology he furthered his studies in HIV medicine, providing the perfect platform to launch his clinic, which also has knowledge sharing networks with top universities and institutions globally. Despite the pandemic, Dr Deyn was able to expand the clinic’s global online services and integrated network of companies which now includes PULSE Social Enterprise, PULSE Clinics (Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines), PULSExpress clinic (Thailand), PULSE Tech & Innovation, La Défense Laboratoire, EU Health & Wellness, and the Asia.gay website. He was honoured as The Creative Entrepreneur 2021 by the National Innovation Agency. He launched the PULSE awards, an international art contest to use art as a tool for health promotion and to support new and emerging artists. Podcasts are his French and Spanish learning tools, while the works of Claude Monet and Gustav Klimt help him connect with the universe.
