Lalisa “Lisa” Manobal will make history as the first Thai artist ever to perform at the FIFA World Cup 2026 kickoff, delivering a landmark performance on the global stage.

It’s official: Lalisa “Lisa” Manobal is set to perform at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2026 on 12 June in Los Angeles.

FIFA and Lisa’s label LLOUD have confirmed the news, with the latter describing the tournament as “the first largest FIFA World Cup in history!”

The players haven’t stepped onto the pitch yet, but Lisa is already turning up the volume in the stadium.

The BLACKPINK member joins an international roster of music stars that already includes Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, Rema and Tyla, with even more artists expected to be announced soon.

The United States is just one part of the picture, though, as Canada and Mexico will also host games for the 2026 World Cup. The tournament will span 11–19 July 2026 across all three nations.

Other artists in the international lineup include J Balvin, Maná, Alejandro Fernández, Belinda, Danny Ocean, Lila Downs and Los Ángeles Azules.

The Korea Times has reported that an official World Cup soundtrack, featuring Lisa, Anitta, Rema and Brazilian group Tropkillaz, is already in the works.

Saying Lalisa Manobal is a global phenomenon feels obvious at this point, because she really is – no one else is quite doing it like her right now.

As the first Thai performer at a World Cup opening ceremony, Lisa carries Thailand’s pride onto the world stage.
