The list of things to do in Bangkok keeps piling up lately. Singer, song-writer, and producer Lauv has recently announced that he will be performing in Bangkok as part of The Betweens Album Tour. The concert will take place at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on August 26.
The multi-platinum artist gained popularity with his debut single “The Other” in 2015 and is best known for his breakout hits “I Like Me Better” and “Paris in the Rain”. His debut album, How I’m Feeling was released in March 2020 and debuted at number 16 on the US Billboard 200. Often described as pop with influences from electronic, R&B, and indie genres, his top songs and a few of the best hits include “Modern Loneliness”, “I’m So Tired”, “Feelings”, “Mean It”, and “Sad Forever”.
In addition to his own work, Lauv has also collaborated with other artists, such as Troye Sivan, K-pop group BTS, Alessia Cara, Conan Gray, and LANY. He is known for his honest and vulnerable lyrics that often explore themes of mental health, love, and heartbreak.
Lauv has also always been open about his struggles with mental health and has used his platform to raise awareness and advocate for mental health resources throughout his career. He has donated proceeds from songs to mental health organisations in an effort to erase stigma around this topic.
Lauv ‘The Betweens Album Tour’ in Bangkok will be held at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) at Ballroom Hall 1-4 on August 26. Ticket prices start from 1,800 baht. Presale tickets will be available on May 5 and public sale on May 6 via livenation.co.th.
