In this episode of Koktail Conversations, Nigel Oakins sits down with screenwriter Francesca Andreini, producer-director Marco Gatti, and lead actor Stefania Kim Gardini of the docudrama Me and The Magic Door, to discuss the impact of Italian architects and engineers on the landscape of Bangkok at the turn of the 20th century. Showcasing the enduring buildings and landmarks that are still in full use today, the 70-minute “road movie” follows an Italian-Thai writer sent on a mission to Bangkok to tell the story to her audience back in Italy.
