Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, a quintessential New York steakhouse experience, arrived in Thailand this year at One Bangkok quickly becoming a top dining destination at the city’s newest lifestyle hub. “Classic never goes out of style” is their motto and classic it is. With an interior that replicates the original Park Avenue venue, Wolfgang’s delivers a sophisticated Manhattan ambiance as a backdrop to an array of signature dishes and classic mainstays. Wolfgang’s beef, grass fed USDA prime is flown in chilled, never frozen, and then dry aged in-house for 28 days to prepare it for ultra-high temperature broiling 1kg porterhouse for two is a tent-pole on a menu that includes a variety of steaks, chops, and broiled and grilled seafood mains. Prepared to a perfect medium rare and served on a sizzling plate, porterhouse combines a richly marbled NY strip and tender filet mignon, with charred crust and a buttery tenderness. Complementing it all is a delightful range of appetisers, including thick-sliced maple glazed sizzling bacon and Wolfgang’s crab cake or jumbo lump crab salad. House salad, is a flavourful mix of shrimp, chunky bacon, tomatoes, green beans and onion in a refreshing lemon, mustard, horseradish and olive oil dressing. Leave room for New York cheesecake served with a liberal accompaniment of homemade, lightly sugared whipped cream providing a perfect flavour balance.
