Set within the Kata Rocks Hotel, it overlooks an infinity pool and is a perfect venue for a lazy long weekend or holiday lunches. The menu features a combination of contemporary and classic dishes. Begin with refreshing seabass ceviche with a zesty seasoning or picture-perfect Phuket crab cake. Alternatively, go the classic route with velvet smooth French foie gras terrine or perhaps a house specialty lobster bisque, arriving in a can, a clever take on the Andy Warhol Campbell’s soup tin. The semi-open setting shouts out for salads, and chef Andrew delivers, offering up options of traditional caesar, local blue crab, or tasty avocado. Pasta dishes are a recommendation, be it lobster spaghetti or complex truffle potato gnocchi, the kitchen team’s attention to detail shines through in plate presentation and flavour profile, both faultless. Main courses of Spanish octopus, black cod miso, and Hokkaido scallops continue the theme, with premium ingredients prepared with considered talent.
