The Cliff Bar & Grill is an institution in Samui. Opened in 2004 by Bradley Munns as a premium restaurant; spectacular location and authentic Mediterranean cuisine, using prestige imported ingredients. Guests descend for long lunches and early evening drinks, extending into the late evening. The outdoor terrace is the preferred choice, when weather permits, however the fanned dining room is equally conducive to a relaxed experience. The menu offers considerable choice with classic salads to begin including, caprese, greek and a creamy burrata with parma ham, all elegantly presented and most importantly authentic in composition. Alternatively, one may choose a platter of fresh oysters or perhaps a carpaccio. Follow appetiser with a seafood main course such as Portuguese style peri peri prawns or imported mussels in a creamy sauvignon blanc sauce. However, The Cliff's culinary reputation has been built over the years, on the quality of their steaks. These are flown in, chilled, never frozen and from King Island in Australia, renowned for their premium cuts. Choose from a150 day grain fed tenderloin or a ribeye, the steak lover's favourite. Complete your Cliff experience with a traditional creme caramel or a slightly more decadent chocolate fondant. The wine list has been well chosen with a fair selection available by glass.
