See Fah first opened its doors in1936 along Ratchawong Road in Bangkok, founded by Chinese-born Ngiap Sae-Low. It has been serving authentic Thai-Chinese cuisine with heirloom recipes since its inception, making it popular for family gatherings. This outlet, located at Central World features large windows giving a bright and vibrant ambience. Begin with classic dim sum shumai dumplings, jam-packed with minced pork and mushroom, gently steamed, and topped with crispy fried garlic, enhancing the flavours, and complemented further by a sweet soy sauce. Alternatively, light and refreshing wing bean salad mixed with chopped shallots and fresh herbs, tossed in a zesty dressing of lime juice, fish sauce and spice creates a delightful symphony of textures and tastes encapsulating the crispiness and tanginess in every bite. To follow as a main course, pan-fried noodles with crispy sea bass, gravy and chillis sizzle in a heated clay pot exuding a super fragrant aroma will not disappoint. Try the wonderfully tender roasted duck in red curry with coconut milk, juicy cherry tomatoes and Thai basil, blended with a well-balanced sweet and spicy sauce. For the finale, durian jelly ice cream or all-time favourite, mango with sweet sticky rice, are both unmissable treats. The beverage list includes hot and cold teas, smoothies and coffees.
See Fah has multiple branches across Bangkok; look out for their frequent value promotions.
