Zuppa di pesce of prawns, mussels, scallops, clams, calamari and tomato confit carries intense seafood flavour, served beneath thin bread crust cut open at the table. Risotto ai funghi is for earthy pasta lovers, al dente and infused with aromatic black truffle. Paccheri ai frutti di mare is generous with fresh seafood and firm, slightly chewy pasta, while pappardelle bolognese hits the right notes with tomato and meat. Mains peak with grilled lamb rack, perfectly cooked, tender and elevated by a mellow raspberry juice. Pan-seared sea bass on roasted tomato sauce delights with crisp salty skin, while veal tenderloin with foie gras and truffle shines in richness, the foie gras melting beautifully into the tender meat. Desserts delight with tiramisu presented in a moka pot, airy yet intense. Panna cotta is soft with pistachio, vanilla rum and lemon sorbet. Monte Tessa Appassimento pairs beautifully, easy to drink and well-matched to the menu.
