Rava Beach Club is the latest recreation destination by upscale Banyan Tree Resorts at Laguna Phuket. It stretches along the Andaman Sea featuring four swimming pools, a five-star dining menu and private rooms for small parties overlooking the water. This addition to the Bang Tao/Laguna club scene elevates the myriad pleasures on this upscale stretch of beach. Rava has quickly become popular and accessible to beach lovers who want great cocktails, and to choose from an international menu while swimming in the inviting waters that lap around beach chairs and tables set for enjoyment. Enjoy cocktails such as twilight tide with gin, lychee liquor, tea and lime or tropical sunset with dark rum, peach liquor, passion fruit, yuzu puree and lime, in addition to a full range of popular classics. Chef Joshua Gray has designed a menu to excite every taste. From scallop crudo, buttermilk, orange and jalapeno appetiser to beef tartare, fermented daikon, crispy potato and crab croquettes. Also on offer is bbq zucchini, buttermilk ricotta, lime kosho for vegetarian guests. For those with bigger appetites, charcoal fish, grilled prawns and whole lobster are offered with herb, spice and sauce condiments. Guests also have the option of a variety of classic Thai cuisine including an elegantly presented soft shell crab with green papaya, chilli, dried shrimp and peanut.
