Facing directly onto the Andaman Sea at the north end of Kamala Bay, Pine Beach Bar is the InterContinental Phuket resort’s elegant venue for delicious international cuisine and hand-crafted cocktails. The extensive wine list curated by sommelier Kanes Dechapan, features traditional and new world labels in addition to interesting bio-dynamic and organic wines by the glass or bottle. Begin with a featured cocktail from the “50 Best Bar” offerings unique to Pine Beach Bar such as "Hippity Hoppity" that combines Grey Goose vodka, lime, cucumber, honey, carrot and guava juices with yellow chartreuse ginger syrup. Chef Narawich has designed a menu that is exotic and international ranging from Irish oysters teased with Hua Hin caviar to tom yum goong, hot and sour soup with Andaman king prawn, lemongrass, galangal and mushroom. Caesar salad is grand with rich taste as is quinoa salad with avocado, feta cheese, pomegranate, sunflower seeds, bell pepper and pesto sauce. Mains include grilled Australian Kimbara wagyu ribeye and fresh local seabass prepared with Mediterranean sauce, artichokes, fresh parsley and extra virgin olive oil. Gourmet pizzas include truffle with dry porcini, black truffle paste and parmesan cheese. Also standing out is homemade linguine with grilled half Phuket lobster. Pastry chef Ladda Wanmuda’s masterpiece desserts excite the eyes as well as the taste.
