Owl Brasserie is an established local culinary haven, housed in a relaxing green space just inside the Old City moat. Owner and chef, Roman Sturn explores his culinary heritage to create contemporary European cuisine crafted with local fresh produce, supporting an ‘ingredient focused and sustainability conscious’ philosophy. Bringing Thai produce to the western palette with inspiring skill and stunning presentation, Owl presents fine dining wisdom with seasonal à la carte menus, whilst maintaining much- loved signature dishes. For starters, signature and sensationally smooth duck liver butter is beautifully presented as a mandarin orange encased in citrus jelly, served with warm homemade brioche. Explore the unconventional with jellied tomato hidden within a creamy stracciatella foam dome and basil oil drizzle. A diverse range of inventive and satiating mains include seared venison loin with supporting vegetable puree trio, pan seared red snapper with sauce Jacqueline, and pearl barley and cauliflower risotto with red wine poached apple. The grill section provides an additional medley of premium meat options. Desserts highlight the chef’s skills as a celebrated pastry chef, from the finest panna cotta, soufflés to chocolate-based delights with homemade ice cream and sorbets.
