This popular branch of Mango Tree features a smart contemporary design with plenty of bright indoor and airy terrace seating. Once seated, try one of the specialty house cocktails to set the mood, the Spicy Sam, a sublimely refreshing signature mix of chilli vodka, mango puree and lime juice over ice fires up the taste buds for piquant appetisers, curries, salads, soups and grilled favourites from across Thailand. The busy drinks list also includes a decent selection of wines, house spirits, beers, mocktails and soft drinks, providing plenty of refreshment options to fit the fare. From the south try tender grilled baby pork ribs flavoured with a zesty rub of chilli, white pepper, and Thai spices; leaving a wonderful after-glow on the palate. Pair it with a cool and crunchy papaya salad from the northeast. Seafood choices abound in the form of celebrated Phuket lobster and tiger prawns, squid, sea bass and fresh crab offerings from the country's Andaman shores. A particularly good seafood dish for sharing is the signature wok-fried curry with jumbo chunks of fresh crab meat. It is best followed with a traditional ending of blue-hued Anchan flower tapioca in coconut cream, which is as beautiful to look at as it is tasty.
Mango Tree puts on an eye-catching traditional Thai dance show on Friday and Saturday evenings.
