Man Ho’s presentations of classic Chinese fare provide both an elevated culinary experience and further enhance the restaurant’s sophisticated decor and atmosphere. Blending traditional Chinese interior design with contemporary elegance is a nod to chef Leslie Du’s creative innovations on familiar dishes. Set in the JW Marriott, this venue is ideal for business meetings and special occasions. A marriage of taste and art, dishes at Man Ho embrace modern flair whilst preserving authenticity. The small plate menu highlights include Zhong Qi-style snow fish roasted in bamboo, a very aromatic and flavourful dish applied to feather-light, juicy fish. For something more substantial, the platter of barbecued meats is an ideal way to sample the different offerings, including honey-roasted char siu pork, roast duck, and crispy pork belly. Peking duck is an obligatory order, and Man Ho serves this with many condiments and second-course preparations. The dim sum menu also offers contemporary favourites, including salted egg lava buns and large, plump shrimp siu mai. For dessert, mango pudding served in a tall cocktail glass emerging from a cloud of vapour is an intricate masterpiece, featuring a carp carved from coconut pudding, which appears to swim gracefully on top.
