Luna La Pran is located within the attractive tropical grounds of the Sheraton Pranburi Villa complex. Facing Pak Nam Pran beach the contemporary design has both outdoor and covered areas providing a relaxed garden setting with cool breezes coming from the bay. Although there is a limited wine selection, they do have an extensive and creative selection of cocktails and spirits available for diners to enjoy pre or post dinner in this stylish ocean view restaurant. The Thai, seafood and international selection of dishes is extensive with a focus on the finest locally sourced ingredients. Light bites of note include goong mae naam, local river prawns cooked in a variety of styles and pickled jalapeños prawn ceviche. For more of a western flavour consider Hua Hin buffalo mozzarella served with charcoal flamed organic eggplant salad. The kitchen caters to every taste but popular favorites include spicy crispy banana shrimp salad or fried rice with banana prawns served in a Pranburi pineapple. Of desserts there is delicious homemade coconut ice cream served in a whole Pranburi coconut alongside a selection of condiments or baked Pranburi pineapple served with pink peppercorns and homemade pineapple sorbet. For a more international taste try an excellent mulberry tiramisu or organic figs and Greek yogurt served with long honey, cashew nuts and pumpkin seeds
