Kata Rocks Clubhouse is located within the luxury Kata Rocks hotel, perched on the cliff side overlooking the Andaman Sea, the infinity pool stretching the length of the dining room. An idyllic setting for a long, lazy lunch or to enjoy an evening sunset. The menu features international and Thai cuisine, modern twists on classics, flavour-forward. Appetisers range from a stellar Phuket crab cake with panko crusted fresh Andaman crab in kaffir lime mayonnaise spiced with coriander and tomato, to a playfully presented complex lobster bisque given a local makeover with coconut, lemongrass and ginger, enhanced with an accompanying lobster tartine. Main courses impress, whether a whole roasted local sea bass or the super tender prime black Angus cote de boeuf with earthy and refined porcini butter and multilayered red wine jus. Kitchen execution is on point. Culinary talent is again showcased in a humble roasted cauliflower, taken to the next level, with Korean gochujang chili glaze, sesame, and coriander; you may never look at cauliflower in the same way again. Complete your experience with a dessert, simply named, lemon; a 24-hour confit lemon rind with lemon curd, French meringue partnered with a blueberry compote, as memorable, as the views. The cocktail and wine list is extensive, with wines available by glass.
