Dining at Isola feels somewhere between a breezy lunch on the Italian riviera or sharing plates with friends at an uber trendy club. Exuding the youthful energy of sorbet-coloured decor, dynamic lighting, prosecco served topped with bottle sparklers, and food to match the elan of the setting. Isola pays tribute to the original Signor Sassi, opened by the Italian family-owned San Carlo group in London in1984. Known for glamourous but unpretentious dishes, Signor Sassi's legacy continues through their world-famous spaghetti lobster which can be enjoyed in its lavish glory at Isola. Familiar signature dishes include filetto Signor Sassi, served with a homemade butter sauce made from 30 ingredients. The pasta menu impresses with its breadth of options and depth of flavours. Try the unique duck pappardelle for something pleasantly indulgent and satisfying. Do not skip the antipasti. Recommended is the avocado bernardo, with the addition of lobster, scampi, and avocado. Round off the meal with a lady isola mimosa; this yellow sponge cake decorated with pasticciera, chantilly cream, and mimosa flowers makes for a delightful, and photogenic dessert. The sounds of cocktail shakers from the bar may tempt you to join the revelry. Indeed, their signature cocktail menu offers some glamorously sinful concoctions. The wine list is also an impressive showcase of Italy's best offerings.
