This first Asian outpost of culinary maestro and multi award winning Andreas Caminada continues to bloom. Opened in late 2020, the culinary execution has comfortably matured over time. Stillhelmed by Chef David Hartwig and his right hand, pastry chef Arne Riehn with service presided over by the exceptionally charming Regina D'Souza exuding an air of calm, which permeates throughout this chic and contemporary dining room. Dishes are presented in a sharing concept, now beginning in the lobby bar area, served counter-top, offering the diner an opportunity to engage with the chefs. They narrate, whilst serving up a number of elaborate, flavour forward bites, several which showcase chef David's trademark, vegetables at the core. The ingredients loudly sing and energetically dance on the palate; egg with roasted rice and shallot is truly exquisite. Highlights include signature stellar sweetbreads with seasonally changing garnishes and an ever-changing scuffle; Thai chocolate, somewhat inevitably, now a true diner favourite. Before departing, a visit to the candy store is mandatory, to take home delectable goodies including madeleines, truffles, jellies and macarons, whilst saying auf wiedersehn to the chefs.

New and Refreshing Tribute to the Sun-Kissed Season Menu by IGNIV Bangkok

IGNIV Bangkok at the St. Regis Bangkok is celebrating summer with a new menu featuring 19 handcrafted dishes designed for sharing. Available from June to August 2024, the menu captures the season’s essence with fresh flavours.

Head Chef David Hartwig and Chef Arne Riehn have drawn inspiration from their favourite summer moments, like outdoor barbecues and seasonal farm produce. They believe freshness and lightness are the heroes of the season, with summer being about fresh fruits, salads, and light, refreshing flavours and textures.

Highlight dishes include Wagyu short ribs with salsa verde and grilled vegetables, eggplant with pomegranate and sesame, and raviolo with vegetables and saffron. The menu also features Arctic charr with orange beurre blanc and celery, langoustine with mango and citrus, and desserts like fig with hazelnut and rosemary, and peach with passionfruit and milchreis.

At the end of the meal, guests can enjoy fruit jellies, handcrafted chocolate bonbons, and other treats from IGNIV’s Candy Store to enjoy with coffee or tea, or to take home.

Dinner is available daily from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM (last order at 8:30 PM) for THB 5,500++ per person. Lunch is served on weekdays from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM (last order at 1:30 PM). Vegan, vegetarian, a la carte, and kids’ menus are also available.
