In the heart of Bangkok, Harvest welcomes you with the ambience of a warm chalet on a snowy day. Dimly lit, cosy and rustically intimate, this unassuming wooden den is somewhat of a hidden gem. The food is as rustically wholesome as the setting. The one-page menu is refreshingly concise, focussing on homemade dishes, ranging from 'house made' sausages to hand-rolled pasta. The former arrives in a hot skillet on a bed of creamy polenta and makes for a hearty sharing starter. These have a deliciously meaty appearance and are packed full of flavour. The housemade pasta options are equally comforting, a truffle ricotta scarpinocc tossed in garlic brown butter is like a warm hug on a cold day.
Mains are meat-focused with a couple of tempting seafood options. Try the best of both worlds with the surf & turf, a 200g Angus beef tenderloin cooked to perfection topped with a zesty and buttery Maine lobster tail. Drizzled on top, a unique riff on bearnaise sauce adds extra decadence and is absolutely divine. There are only two dessert options, but they are all you need: order both sticky toffee pudding and figs and cream to share. Select from a vast variety of bio-dynamic, organic, natural wines from all over the world.
The adjoining woodshed cocktail bar is worth a visit, pre or post-dining, for a signature cocktails.
