Ginger Farm Kitchen is situated within the One Nimman mall in the centre of the city. Decorated in a farmhouse style the furnishings are eclectic lending a friendly, fun casual ambience. The drinks list boasts a wide range of homemade sodas, organic teas and coffees and a petite wine list. There is a healthy vein running through the drink offerings with multiple green vegetable combos indicating benefits to the body and mind. This is extended to the menu with a mission statement embracing local ingredients from artisan farmers and stating categorically no MSG.
There are a number of organic vegetable dishes including seasonal pako fern, better known as fiddlehead and highly prized with nutrients. To begin, choose a mainstream crispy pork belly or deep-fried shrimp cakes, both served in colourful local ceramics, perfectly reflecting the ethos. Continue with a more substantial tom yum goong artfully served at table with succulent river prawns or fragrant green curry with braised beef shanks. This is perfectly executed home comfort Thai cuisine. Try a western twist of spaghetti with crab paste and bacon, a Thai take on carbonara. There is even fish and chips with curry mayonnaise should one wish to seek adventure. Desserts are more traditional, with sago and coconut or bananas with coconut ice cream.
There are now other branches in Bangkok including at Icon Siam and True digital park.
