Fresca Kitchens & Deli, located within the Stay Wellbeing and Lifestyle Resort, is a popular, modern all-day dining destination for Phuket's southern community, boasting an on-site bakery and deli within an open-kitchen interior restaurant, alongside a comfortable terrace for al fresco dining experience. Viewing the selection of meats in the deli the diner is lured to the Iberico pata negra platter for two. Cuts of four Iberian cured hams and manchego cheese is adorned with artichokes, olives and figs accompanied with flat breads. Apple and blue cheese salad is a fine supporting dish, sitting on mixed greens, dried cranberries and walnut. Pan fried wild fresh salmon from Norway comes perfectly seared and lightly crisp, perched on a bed of vibrant sauteed greens and a pickled cabbage, giving a pleasant torte note. Wagyu hanger steak arrives with selected beef jus and salad accompaniment. The smokey flavours from the Jasper grill are well noted and enhanced by the roasted garlic bulb. The craftmanship of the vanilla mille feuille is undeniable. Creamy Tahiti vanilla mousseline lies within the thinnest French butter caramelised pastry layers. The uber fresh and zesty lemon meringue eclair is a light and satiating finale. Fresca's wine list is varied and extensive, with considered selections from both old and new.
