Asiatique Ancient Tea House occupies a restored 111-year-old heritage building once serving as part of the East Asiatic Company’s trading warehouse. It combines classic Chinese charm with modern sophistication. Inspired by the discovery of tea by Emperor Shennong and the historic Thailand-China trade, dating back to the reign of King Rama IV, the venue offers premium dim sum, a curated selection of teas, and tea-inspired cocktails. The riverside glasshouse setting is perfect to enjoy both food and atmosphere. Chinese clear soup presents a mellow taste, enriched with bamboo pith, goji berries, and shiitake mushroom. Deep-fried purple sweet potato shrimp and pork, a menu highlight, arrives in two swans kissing, is crispy outside and soft inside. Sichuan hot soup balances mild sour notes with gentle spice. Steamed Hong Kong kale with oyster sauce keeps vegetable crisp and complements its natural sweetness. Prawn har gao and asparagus is elegantly fish-shaped and delicate.
