With its pop-art-inspired décor, Antito serves Italian flavours made with local ingredients. Located on the 14th floor of the Eastin Grand Hotel, the experience begins with sweeping views of Bangkok’s skyline and an inviting glimpse of the hotel swimming pool. Inside, shades of green, red and yellow fight for the eyes attention, shaping a lively ambience. From picture frames and wallpaper to furniture, every detail embraces the colourful aesthetic. Leading the kitchen is chef Amerigo Tito Sesti, with focus on the flavours of central and southern Italy. Begin the meal with seafood salad to stimulate the appetite, followed by sweet beef bresaola salad. These antipasti are light in flavour, allowing the natural taste to shine through. Fried pizza balances salty and sweet flavours from caramelised onion and pancetta, complemented by the crisp texture of dough crust. Then onto the main dishes, featuring freshly made pasta prepared in-house. Ravioli is stuffed with Phuket lobster and leeks, served with truffle lobster cream. An undoubted menu highlight is gnocchi with sausage ragù, coated in a rich sauce and enhanced by the aroma of the delightfully roasted sausage. Desserts are aromatic, often infused with basil, lemon, and pistachio. Service is impeccable, with special attention to detail when selecting wines or other beverages to complement each guest’s meal.
