Akoya Star Lounge sits at the rooftop of the luxury V Villas. With 360-degree views of Ao Yon Bay and islands off the southern tip of the island, there are few more breathtaking vistas. The lounge, surrounded by ornamental water pools with sumptuous sofas and day beds, perfectly positions occupants to enjoy a memorable sunset, whilst chilling to the latest DJ beats or indeed whilst dining. The menu matches the mood, with an impressive selection of European and Thai bites. Begin with a refreshing and piquant tuna taco or an intriguing laab burger, a Thai style mini wagyu burger. Or perhaps choose a house special deep-fried crab cake with emmenthal cheese and garlic aioli. Thai style dishes are equally recommendable with premium ingredients given a Thai twist. Highlights include tajima wagyu A4 with rice berries and caviar and incredibly moreish chicken wings coated in a super spice or diner favourite shrimp gyoza accompanied by aspring onion dipping sauce. Complete your dining feast with the unique broken bucket dessert, a magical creation of local sticky rice with coconut cream, slices of mango and chunks of macadamia topped off with decadent dark chocolate.
