As co-founder and partner in Looloo Technology Company Limited, this MIT graduate works on the customer and business development of his company, which aims to help clients better use their data, improve operations and create new products and services through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning. Looloo is also in the process of building its own products that will revolutionise the Thai hiring system. In his previous life, Parith was an investment associate at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), general manager of PARICH Fertilizer Company (a family business), and Director of Jack Chia Industries Thailand. He is most proud of Carenation, the social enterprise he founded in 2019 to address the waste aspects of funeral wreaths. Carenation wreaths are made from recycled paper and assembled by disadvantage communities, with 10-40 per cent of sales donated to charity. Parith says his biggest challenge to date is becoming a first time dad—and how to ensure his son, Rit, will grow up to be a good, smart and well-rounded person.
