Kittisak is CEO of Montara Hospitality Group, which owns and manages the Trisara luxury resort in Phuket—known for its conservation of the island’s rich local natural heritage and home to the first Michelin-starred restaurant in Thailand outside of Bangkok. Other properties within the group include Praya Palazzo and Prince Theatre Heritage Stay in Bangkok, both transformed from century-old historic buildings to promote community-based tourism. Kittisak previously worked in renewable energy, private equity and investment banking. He says his role is to create an environment that encourages staff to innovate to sustain success. His current focus is Tri Vananda, a comprehensive health and wellness residential community in Phuket to be launched in 2022. He is inspired by his father’s courage, passion, ethics, curiosity and ingenuity, and also by Mary Oliver’s poem "The Summer Day" which, he says, encourages him to live purposefully and make a difference. Kittisak also serves as a director of the Niyom Pattamasaevi Foundation, which supports education, visual and performing arts, heritage architecture conservation and Buddhist scholarships in Lampang.
