Fifth generation scion of the Mouawad family, Jimmy Mouawad is the co-guardian of the Mouawad Diamond Impact Fund, an initiative to create value by improving the lives of underprivileged communities in diamond producing countries. A graduate of the Hult International Business School and the Gemological Institute of America, Jimmy leads the initiative in its activities in education and skills development, selecting projects that make a positive impact on individuals, communities and the world. The impact fund is currently working in South Africa with aims to expand to Southeast Asia. While leading the initiative, Jimmy is also involved in the family business and has plans for his own venture. In his free time, he is an avid scuba diver and skier, with a passion for design, fashion and architecture.
