CHAR’D Grill is the award winning restaurant that has made Karon Beach a major dining destination. Located in the upscale Avista Grand Phuket resort at southern Karon beach, CHAR’D features a flame to table menu using a Kopa grill to offer moist and flavourful meats and seafood. F&B Manager Lukasz creates an unforgettable dining experience in the restaurant set around a water park lit with flaming torches. Guests can choose a table around the water’s edge or, after removing their shoes, can sit in the shallow end of the pool where they get a more dramatic view of the evening’s fire show. Begin the dining adventure with a signature cocktail as the Kafftakh gin gimlet enhanced with makrut leaves, local fresh lime and homemade lemongrass tea while savouring the tastes of a charcuterie and cheese board of Parma ham, salami from Milan, beef bresaola, Camembert from Normandy and much more. Chef de cuisine Shishir presents a selection of the evening’s choice cuts of beef grilled to taste. The magic of the Kopa grill also works magic with the New Zealand Lumina 21 day aged lamb chops and a very tasty surf and turf collection of premium Australian steaks with chargrilled tiger prawns. CHAR’D offers grilled Phuket seven-colour lobster as their signature menu offering. A delicious whole charred grilled Phuket sea bream and all seafood selections are presented with a tasty choice of sauces. The baked Alaska flambé is a delicious and dramatic dessert for a finale.
