CLARA is a modern Italian fine-dining restaurant tucked away in Yen Akat. The restaurant offers a seasonal tasting menu that changes every three months, reflecting the seasons and highlighting premium ingredients. Diners may choose between six or eight-course menus. Chef Christian Martena leads the kitchen, while partner Clara oversees front of house, ensuring a seamless dining experience. The atmosphere is enhanced by a green garden at the front of the restaurant. Interior is spacious and filled with warm, inviting lighting, creating a relaxed yet elegant setting. The meal begins with three appetisers: sea urchin, stracciatella and citrus, followed by sea scallop beignet and foie gras tarte with pumpkin purée and aged balsamic. Next comes lobster and cuttlefish, served with fennel pollen and saffron. For pasta course, diners enjoy homemade pasta featuring black truffles, celeriac, and parmesan. Before the main course, black cod is served with lion mushroom and Jerusalem artichoke in a delicate dashi broth. The highlight is Japanese wagyu short ribs, accompanied by apple and radicchio, tender and full of flavour. Desserts finish the meal with a refreshing frozen pomegranate juice, served beneath lemon balm and a hint of sea water, leaving a light, memorable conclusion. All dishes are complemented by stunning wine pairings, and a concise wine list is available for those seeking something additional.
