Canopy Tree Bar is an imaginative addition to Phuket’s social and culinary scene. Located in the grounds of the Novotel resort in Kata; imagine dining in a tropical forest or sipping a cocktail beneath a towering canopy of trees. The rustic bar boasts an impressive range of cocktails, and offers a dining experience at attractive prices. Lovingly described in the menu, cocktails range from classics such as New York sour to house specialties like fruity Kata matador and canopy grog. A wide selection of spirits, liqueurs and imported beers includes seven notable wines by the glass. Begin your repast with a light snack such as truffle cheesy fries, or classic salad. Salade Nicoise is exceptional, featuring seared tuna and quail’s eggs; for lunch, diners can enjoy a healthy salmon poke bowl. If you fancy a burger, chipotle wagyu with Monterey Jack cheese is a succulent delight. Meaty mains include bangers and mash with luscious onion gravy, or if you want to go big, tackle the signature dish of Aussie ribeye, a hefty and imposing angus beef steak garnished with new potatoes and mushrooms.
