From 26 March to 6 April, the Thai Book Fair is back, now debuting its all-new BL and GL zones.

Book lovers, assemble! From 26 March to 6 April, the National Book Fair & Bangkok International Book Fair (better known together as the Thai Book Fair) are back. And this year, they’re carving out new zones just for the Boys’ Love (BL) and Girls’ Love (GL) genres.

Whether you’re team yaoi or team yuri, the shelves are stacked with engaging stories ready to sweep you off your feet and hit you right in the feels.

BL and GL have become a full-on cultural phenomenon in Thailand, dominating TV screens and internet fandoms alike. This exciting step reflects the country’s growing push for empowerment, strengthening its standing as one of the most welcoming LGBTQ+ destinations in the world.

Get ready to roam across eight zones, spanning literature, children’s and educational books, foreign titles, rare finds, comics and YA favourites. Not just books either: the Non-Book and board game section turns things up a notch, perfect for readers who want a fun, non-literary break with a chance to rest their eyes.

With this year’s theme Read the Legend, beloved TV characters such as Khunthong and Friends will drop by, turning the fair into a lively space where both children and grown-ups can join the fun.

Mark the dates: 26 March-6 April, 10am-9pm, Halls 5-8, LG floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
